Swap for good
We make reusable, low-tox alternatives to the disposables you use every day. Less waste, more peace of mind, one swap at a time.
A bottle. A razor.
A toothbrush. A lunch box.
On their own, they may seem small. But when everyday products are designed to be replaced again and again, their impact adds up quickly.
Bambaw started with a simple idea: create reusable everyday products with carefully chosen materials to replace disposable alternatives.
Small swaps add up
One product becomes part of a routine.
A routine becomes a habit.
And shared habits, repeated over time, can give way to positive change.
Bambaw swaps in circulation by the end of 2025

The people
The things you use every day touch your skin, food and water. You should know what they’re made of.
- Considered materials: Selected for repeated contact, use after use.
- Low-tox thinking: We question what needs to be there and what can be left out.
- Proof you can check: Testing and certifications back up what we say, explained simply.
- Made for real life: Easily fits into your routine, with quality that pays off over time.
The planet
Reusable is the start. We also look at how a product is made, how long it lasts and what can happen when its useful life eventually comes to an end.
- Made to last: Built for repeated use, so fewer disposables are needed.
- End of life in mind: Materials picked for durability, sourcing, and what happens after use.
- Thoughtful operations: We work with manufacturing partners on clear standards, continuously improving processes.
- Action beyond our products: Some challenges need more than a product swap, so we support research and organisations tackling plastic pollution and healthier materials.
What it’s made of and why
The right material is the difference between a product you replace and one you keep.
Proof behind the product
Every claim is backed by testing, certification or audits. We go further than the minimum required.
- ClimatePartner certified: Climate footprint measured, reduced and offset annually for eligible products.
- FSC certified bamboo: Sourced from responsibly managed forests.
- OCS 100 certified cotton: Certified organic cotton buds.
- SGS tested steel: Verifies recycled content and tests for heavy-metal migration.
- CATRA tested blades: Independently tested for cutting performance and wear over repeated use.
- Food-contact tested materials: EU 1935/2004 and REACH compliant, confirmed not to leach substances or affect taste, and tested free from lead and phthalates, on relevant products.

Who makes it?
How something is made matters as much as what it’s made from.
Every manufacturing partner is thoroughly assessed before production starts, and reviewed continuously after.
Where relevant, third-party audits cover working conditions, safety and ethics Our razor factory, for example, is assessed against the Amfori BSCI code of conduct.
Our sourcing and product teams maintain direct and frequent contact with every manufacturing partner.
10 plastic bottles removed for every order
How our plastic-collection commitment works
Every Bambaw.com order counts.
A fixed amount per order pays for 10 plastic bottles’ worth of waste to be collected.
GoodAPI and Plastic Bank teams collect plastic within 50 km of the ocean or an ocean-bound waterway.
Each collection is documented and tracked through an audit trail.
Beyond the swap
Products are where Bambaw started. They are not the only place where we can contribute.
We also work with researchers, local organisations and projects that are tackling some of the same questions we care about: plastic pollution, material exposure, reuse and access to more durable alternatives.
We supply bottles to HYPIEND, an EU-funded study on reducing children’s exposure to endocrine disruptors. Results will follow when the study ends.
In 2025, we made 13,000 stainless steel snack boxes for Intradel’s plastic-free snack programme, given to first-year primary pupils across Liège province.
Through Heroes of Zero, our products joined an all-female National Geographic expedition tracking plastic along the Ganges, an Arctic expedition and a low-emission Atlantic crossing.
One team, asking the same question
How can an everyday essential be made more thoughtfully?
That question runs through Bambaw, from product development and sourcing to logistics, content and customer care.
Different roles, same ambition: make choices that stand up to everyday life and keep improving what sits behind them.
However you want to be part of it,
there’s a place to start.
Working on a project that supports better everyday choices? We'd love to hear about it.
